You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Kinda crazy.... def something wrong with him. No way does a 3.5 yr old let you walk right up on them like that. Call your dnr and ask about a salvage tag and see what they'll do for you.

I don't know much about this but I recently seen a video of a deer with EHD and it was doing the same thing, just stood there. The guy walked right up and was patting and consoling the deer and it just stood there. I hope thats not the case here but it reminded me of the video

It's hard to tell but is that a wound on the inside of his left rear leg in the second photo? Right where his tarsal gland would be. Or is that just his tarsal gland?

I drove by the next day and he wasn't in the field, but when I drove by the property owners house, I saw something in the bucket of his tractor that I'm pretty sure was this buck. I turned around to talk to him but then there was a truck waiting to pull out of the driveway so I went on my way.
