Must have been a popular buck picture years ago. That bow rack is from the mid-80's if I remember right.

man i think im cheap im still using my arrows that i have killed with, as a matter of fact both my quivers are full of arrows i have already killed with, some are marked with a couple x's meaning 2 kills already. some say does etc..... 1 arrow says lucky cause i shot a buck in 07' and he was lucky enough not to die, im hoping to put that arrow through another monster, hopefully this year....... i havent bought arrows the past 3 seasons maybe 4 cause i would bye a dozen each year for a while so now im just using up what i have and resusing i dont have the spare money i used to after building a home.......

Dor, Damn you/we/my family do allot of the same things hunting wise. I've got a box load of bent and bloody retired arrows downstairs In the archery room and I bet there's at least 3 boxes full of arrows from my dad, mom, brother from back In the day. Far from junk Stanley!! ;) I mean no harm either Stanley. Just poking ya for fun.

They worked amazingly out west for hauling elk meat too!
Sweet!! Can't wait for the story!!

I almost forgot I have another box of old arrows in the basement that looks just like yours Dor!

Not all of these killed deer......some were misses and in those days an aluminum arrow was bent and pretty much worthless. Others are from shooting squirrels and other critters.

Notice the Easton Ted Nugent zebra stripe 2512's. Those things are like tree trunks when comparing diameter to my carbons I shoot now.

I have probably the last 8 or so arrows and broadheads that I've taken game with blood dirt and all retired and hanging in my basement shop. Kinda cool to have around somewhere.

Very cool Dor. I got some scrap metal around but wouldn't say I collect from each animal.

I've only kept one arrow, it's on the rack of the buck I shot 2 falls ago. I believe it has killed 4 turkeys and 5 deer before it got the snap.

I had my "kill" arrows piled up at our cabin for several years. I shoot Easton ACC's and was getting down to my last few, low on cash and ended up ditching the broadheads, cleaning the straight ones and re-fletching them.....can't believe what they want for a dozen ACC's now....
