Sounds like a Beast! I believe Michigan's top nontypical is just over 238, taken by an acquaintence of mine in the seventies. At least I don't think its been topped.

You cannot invade mainland America. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.

Man, that thing is a horse! These last 16 days before the Illinois opener are driving me crazy. I'm ready for the 10 days forecast to come out so I can start planning for opening day!

Wow!! What a beast. Harvesting a slob like that would've required at least two post shot movements from me:
1....physical movement getting out of the stand
2.... a serious bowel movement :)
Congrats to the hunter and best of luck with the new record

Re: Possible new state nontypical shot Wi.
Not a surprise. Some of the largest bucks I have ever seen in WI over the years were around that area. I travel north on Highway 45 quite a bit late at night travelling up to the northwoods. One night during the rut I saw the largest buck I have ever seen in the wild right next to the Marion Ice Fishing Derby sign. Wonder if it was the same buck?
That area from Clintonville to Tigerton holds some giants.

Huge.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
