tom's gobbled tonight, what??

Unread postby dreaming bucks » Sun Sep 16, 2012 4:17 pm

I don't hunt turkeys, but I have a question... as I was bow hunting tonight, I heard some turkeys above me on the ridge clucking around, but I also heard a Tom gobble 3 or 4 times.... what's up with that, I thought they only gobble during mating season? Is this normal?
