Rub Line Slime

Unread postby muddy » Fri Sep 14, 2012 12:57 pm

Anyone seen the ads for this new wonder product? Endorsed by none other than marketing Michael Waddell. Dude seems like a decent enough guy but man, if someone waves a dollar bill in front of him he is all over it like maggots on road kill.

Another drop in the Pixie Dust bucket, right next to Nose Jammer and the Deer View Mirror

It really is amazing how people never seem to run out of bad ideas. Just when I think the industry can't come up with something else they hit me with slime.

I really like Michael and remember how he paid his dues to get to this point, but it sure gets old with him or T-Bone constantly hawking products. I love their show (and they certainly arean't the only ones that do it though Michael is premium when it comes to endorsements), but I just could not promote something I personally wouldn't use. I have met him and most other celebrities and they are good people, its just a business move to them to pay the bills, although it might be hard to sleep at night sometimes.

From Wildgame Innovations website..............

Product Description

Hunt the Rub Line with the Bone Collector Rub Line Slime. This potent formula draws bucks in from all over the property and brings them right past your location. Rub Line Slime easily sticks to trees and slowly drips down the bark for a long lasting slimy attractant. The gooey mixture with deer scents has the power to draw out the most wary of dominant bucks. Fool the big one you have been chasing all season long into following the Rub Line Slime right to your stand.

Thats gotta be the funniest thing I ever read!

My opinion is that if you endorse a product that you truly don't believe in you are not a good guy. I understand what was meant by the poster here who has met him. I am sure he was friendly. But, when your conscience permits you to make money at the expense of your morals or ethics again in my opinion you become someone who cannot be trusted.

I am going to make two hand mittens of deer hair that you put on your hands and rub together. This will fool all of the bucks in the area into thinking that a buck is breeding a doe and bring them in RUNNING. :D

At least now if I come across any green slime on a rub I will know what it is and avoid that area. ;)
