Opening your mind....

I have opened my mind and totally recreated my hunting approach. Once I realized that I could no longer shoot a compound or climb trees I was devastated. Instead of giving up I got a crossbow, M300, and a ghillie suit and in gonna try perfecting ground setups. I kinda have a free feeling not being married to a stand and I can have countless setups. Instead of the traditional field edge I am combining an Infalt/Eberhart approach to finding areas to hunt. I find myself doing the detective work on when areas are good and using terrain to my advantage in the hill country. I didn't find the beast till I got hurt but with the knowledge I now have I think I will do better now then when i was healthy.
