Dude i use what i pick ....im allways sending fluff out ...walking in to the setup- if i feel the wind change i throw some out ...im always throwing it out on stand just making sure im good.
and then when i scout i like to use it also.... no waste here
i hunt alot in hill country so im always trowing it out, trying to learn the thermals. thermals are not always the same, they change from different wind speed, direction and temperature....

Re: MilkWeed road hunt
The larvae (caterpillars) of monarch butterflies eat ONLY milkweed.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

yup, when i was a kid i would go and look for them on the underside of the milk weed leaves
i would find them put them in a bug cage and watch them make a cocoon and them release them when they were ready

So are you throwing fistfulls of fluff at a time? I can't imagine anyone using 263 pods in a lifetime let alone a single season.

Re: MilkWeed road hunt
Usually 3-4 pods lasts me a whole season and then some. I use it constantly during hunting plus for scouting to test wind for any beds I find.
