Re: who needs milkweeds??
Very nice gesture!!
Question for you or others - I picked 20 pods today - in you opinion would this be enough for a season? I am pretty much a once a week night hunter and then once maybe twice on the weekends (wife loves venison just doesn't like the time it takes to get one).
Thanks and look forward to the feedback

I've got a dozen pods drying- should be more than enough... although sometimes you'd think it was snowing when I'm bored!

Re: who needs milkweeds??
is it a bad idea to send them somewhere where they don't grow? some guy down in south carolina wants some. not sure if they are native there. if not, can it be bad for their environment if one were to send him some to use?

Re: who needs milkweeds??
Ill bet milkweed grows there. Anyhow, last year I thought I was nifty and picked about oh... 50. Well I dried them or so I thought. Grabbed what I wanted for a season and threw the rest in a giant ziplock that was zipped shut. There mustve been moisture in there of some kind as they all molded.
Picked some more sunday, I limited myself this time.
