2009 Bucks

Unread postby GRUD » Wed May 19, 2010 9:35 am

Thought I would post my beetled skulls, one is camo dipped, one is plain white. My best trophy of the year is the backdrop skin of a 37lb doe fawn, beautifully tanned. In case you are from Indiana, we can take two bucks if one is in an urban area. The plain skull is from my urban buck.

That looks awesome and that hide is beautiful. Did you get the beetle service here in Indiana?

I got it done through Betchels in Crawfordsville. He had a display at the Big R store and I thought the camo dip was something different so I thought I would give it a try. I know he actually does not have the beetles but takes the skulls to a place that does. Ask around, I think the big beetle house may be in Indy or somewhere. I know he does 200+ skulls a season so I'm sure there are more taxidermists around Indiana who offer this.
