Getting new clothing, what pattern? Poll
Hey guys I'm buying new clothes this year and going all out. Buying a set of gray wolf woolens but want to get the right pattern.... I hunt mostly from a stand in hardwoods in Tennessee, Kansas/Missouri. Looking at A few options. Please let me know what u like and why. Can't afford to get this wrong.
Thanks for the help
Matt

I used both the Predator Fall Gray and Brown Deception. For my money the brown deception is the more versatile pattern. Fall gray works exceptionally well once the leaves come down and the snow hits, but the brown deception works full season from early October right into January. I have yet to get busted in my treestand wearing either Predator pattern...great tool in my experience.

Deception Brown. I feel it is way more versitile then Fall Grey. I know a lot will disagree wiith me, I just feel it is too light (in color) for the hardwoods where I hunt.

I'm not up to speed on the different pattens. I did not vote, but did help keep your thread going.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

I prefer anything in a dull color. I can never understand why so many camo patterns are so dark it seems a dark blob is much more visible than a dull one in any setting.

Re: Getting new clothing, what pattern? Poll
Thanks everyone. I ended up getting a little of both fall gay and deception brown. Majority is deception brown. After looking at tons of pics I think it fits better in my area than the gray. Thanks everyone I am very happy with my purchases. Now I just need to get home for the season. :).
Picked up a Nikon prostaff 550 from vabelas for $150 as well. Had one a few years ago and really like the 6x magnification. I had the 440 before that but couldn't find the deer in the higher mag that it had.
Also picked up a couple packs of nockturnal nocks to try this year. We will see how they do as well. And yes it was a very expensive day for me.
Thanks again.

Hey Matt, glad you like your purchase. I voted Fall Gray, but like others said ASAT is great too. Shoot anything predator I like.
Hey, seen you posted you hunted hardwoods in the Volunteer State! Where are you from?

I am probably the most mismatched camo wearing hunter in the woods....hahaha! I have no camo wearing fashion sense.

I am with you there Virginia shadow. I don't put much stock into camo. You could get away with hunting in a T shirt and jeans. just don't move
Just my opinion.....camo is another gimmick for your hard earned money.
But if it gives you confidence all the better
