I am not one to be superstitious and what not, but with the whole 2012 and the Mayans thing, I sometimes wonder if if isn't related. Sure hope not.

Re: When will it rain? This is getting ridiculous!
I was talking about this with a friend of mine awhile back but not so much about the Mayans but the nuclear meldown in Japan instead. He talked to some guy in Canada and he said the last time the lake by his house did not freeze over was the winter after the Chernobyl meltdown. This year it happened again after the Japan meltdown. Makes a guy think if this is somehow related with the weird weather and moderate to extreme drought 60% of the country is experiencing right now. Pretty sure I read somewhere that this could affect weather patterns but I am far from an expert on this subject. It really does make a guy wonder.

Never even thought about that, you raise a great point though. I am certainly more convinced that there is Global Warming in some form with the warm winters and slow cooker summers we have been having lately.

It's gonna be over 106 out here during the weekend....It rained a whopping .04" this morning. Just enough to drive up the humidity.

We got an inch between one and four this morning.
Went out and mowed today and the ground was dry.

I only ended up with a 1/4" of rain. Not much but we will take what we can get. Just south they got much more and up to 2" in some spots. Hope it was enough to save some crops but sadly I think it was too late for many.
