I would say he would safely gross over 170.

Ive seen big ones like him lose quite a bit from velvet to antler but he sure looks like he has the chance to get to booner status. Its just so hard to tell due to low quality pics and not knowing how far he is in the growth process. Hope you put an arrow in him so you know for sure! :D

When you saw him did you have any estimates on age?

I would say based on the picture and strictly going on the fact that he is a 10pt that he will gross over 170 for sure. If you figure 10-11 inch G2's and G3's with a 20 inch inside spread and 25 inch main beams plus conservatively 18 inches of mass on each side that comes out to 170. That is conservative based on the frame and early July. I watched a buck put on between 20-30 inches between July1 and August 1 two years ago.
