Im just going to say it, but the biggest reason i have a hard time gettin out and hunting mornings is because as soon as i get in the woods i always feel a big #2 coming on

I am allergic to deer blood.. hair or fat. If I gut a deer I break out in hives wherever the blood touches my arm.. not sure what causes it . I try to cover up my hands n arms.

Vegetation by far!! The swamp I hunt gets so overgrown It's miserable. I can't access it at all until gun season and it's still a total struggle. Pulling grass and lilies out the ditches so I can get in there drives me insane

Me too! It takes forever for me to get rid of it. And I look like a rotting zombie for a month with my flesh falling off!
Last year I set up 100 yards from a huge bed on a small wobbly tree. Some guy sets his stand 50 yards closer on a big tree full of poison ivy. He got the buck. Took it to the parking area before gutting him. Public land in Indiana. Midweek and used a cart.
If you are reading this now, "poison ivy killer" then you have my respect. I won't shake your hand though. I'm terrified of getting a rash... PM me--it's safer!

Motivated, bummer about that hunt. It takes me forever to get rid of it too, I had it for almost the whole season last year. I picked up some tecnu, it stays in my truck and I'v been applying immediatly after scouting and then shower with it as soon as I get home, so far so good....going to keep that same routine come hunting season.

Re: Deer Hunting Annoyance
Met a guy with the deer allergy problem. Thankfully don't seem to be bothered by poison ivy. Thankfully on early morning hunts the #2 business usualy hits before reaching the stand, Don't drink coffe anymore and always quit during hunting season to help with not having to pee. Shot a buck one year that ran by my lil bro while he was doing his coffee pee dance. So agree with Magicman. It's the skeeters ans bugs early season.

Extreme cold weather.. I hate it cause I cant sit as long. My hunts have been cut off short cause I was freezing to death n had to get down.
