I would have spring scouted an area with water in "higher" elevations such as this track of land!

I always like water holes as a go to place for deer just like food sources. Bed to water is a great pattern to capitalize on. This year it may even be better yet.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
