There is something in the air....

Unread postby virginiashadow » Mon Jun 25, 2012 11:56 am

They say one's sense of smell carries the strongest memories. For whatever reason, whatever was in the air today made the upcoming hunting season seem that much more real. Something that blooms this time each year kick started my hunting mind. Hot and humid, beer in hand, I shot my bow and dreamed of monster bucks!

BRING on the KILL!

Too funny - My wife and I were driving home from a 9 and dine golf event (took 3rd) and we went through a low area and I said the same thing to her.
Of course she didn't seem to relish the smell as much as I - so cheers (clanking of arrows together) to you VS!!!

I thought it was just me! The past two days jump started me, not sure what is different now vs last week, a month ago etc, and it seems like a lot of our members are coming back! Good to see some new and old screen names alike!

It was 58 degrees this morning and it sure made me smile.

I had to cut my time at the beach short this year because I didn't have enough vacation time to take a week at the beach and a week for hunting. My co-workers said, "You are giving up 80 degrees on sandy beaches for a week during cold, snowy, November??" My response: "I hope it's cold this November!!"

Haha The majority of the population just doesn't get it.
