Tricks are okay varies with model. Eaaston Xts are good imo. Did not have a good run in with MX3s but many love them...have heard nothing bad about the g5 solid 3 brades (montec?)
the fact was stated though.....try a few with good reviews and make your own call

Re: broad heads?
I tried Montecs a few years ago, they flew weird and were no sharper than a hunting knife.

Re: broad heads?
Last few years shot slick tricks and some Muzzy fixed. They both flew well and I will continue to use both unless someone gives me a pack of something else to try. Then if they are fixed heads and fly well I will shoot those.

I really like the NAP BloodRunners. IMO there is no way for them not to open, but lets just say it didnt you still have cut on contact blades. I tried the 2 blade and the 3 blade quite a bit. I strongly recommend the 3 blade version.

Re: broad heads?
I would prefer fixed broadhead, but the most important thing is sending it through the old pump station

I shoot the G5 montecs, I like them but have shot the Muzzy broadheads and they fly identical out of my bow as the montecs which shoot good but muzzy is a good broadhead and the price is pretty good....

Re: broad heads?
Me and my dad have been using the old version of the Trophy Ridge Roc Steelhead XL 100grain broad heads. We've been using them for over 10years and have never had a problem with them not going in deer or penetrating. When they discontinued the old kind we used, we found on ebay a 10 pack of broadheads (30 total broadheads) for $100, so we got 2 sets! We're finally getting through our last packages and will soon be switching to these newer Trophy Ridge Roc Steelhead
