This is uncommon in my area. The buck often bed with the wind to their back and eyes on their back trail. Once again, the only rule is that there is no rules.

I have seen both... They often wind there bed and then hook around and watch the hook. Especially older bucks.

I have seen velvet bucks in buildings quite a bit, not sure if it's due to heat or bugs or what. I haven't seen any building pics with hard antler.

FYI all these pics are other peoples that I grabbed off of the cuddle back photo gallery. Looks like the originals on page 1 got deleted when I organized my pics, I will repost them

I was thinking they were all yours and was in awe of how many big buck beds you have identified! Either way, thanks for sharing them- super cool to see!
