In the short time I've been a member of this forum, I've begun to realize the quality of hunters frequenting these forums. I consider consistantly-successful bowhunters to be the elite, but after being a member of this board, the guys (like many here) that go in and hunt a buck down and shoot him are the true elitists. There are a number of guys here that shoot multiple mature bucks each season, which is a feat in and of itself, but what's even more amazing is they are doing it CONSISTANTLY. I had an idea that each week or so a different member could post a case study of a memorable buck they killed (or maybe couldn't kill) and what was done or should have been done to result in a kill. I'd like to see this focused on non-traditional tactics (such as hunting beds, but not limited to hunting beds). I'll be honest, my success has come from hunting variations of funnels, not that there's anything wrong with that or am ashamed of it, but it now seems like an elementary style of hunting, albeit very productive at times. I know one will never learn as much as they will with hard-earned experience, but maybe some could pick up a tip or two from others' experiences. Just an idea I had floating around.....

Re: Case Studies
Cool idea. Detailed write ups of how you guys killed mature bucks would be beneficial.

Re: Case Studies
Awesome idea. I will share a couple of really in depth stories, but I would love to hear some and see some pictures to go along with it!
