Re: Amber waves of grain.
The last couple years I've found deer sometimes preferring to eat in mature wheat fields. I thought this was odd as I didn't know they eat the grain. After watching closely I noticed them hammering some weed that was pretty heavy in the wheat. After the wheat was harvested they continued to come to that field and eat the weeds. Still don't know what it was, chicory? Any guesses or anyone seen something similar? Do they eat the grain too? Haven't really noticed that.

Cool.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
