A post about Hunting Families / Kids

Unread postby Edcyclopedia » Wed May 09, 2012 11:22 pm

I got to thinking about a post I was replying to and thought it would be nice to see everyone's pics of hunting/kid.

Add a picture of your children under 18 and the wild game there beside.
You too can be in the picture but want the little ones especially!

We went fishing together this winter.

My buddy's buck last year that he watched go down. My daughter and 2 nephews In the picture tracked It themselves.

My daughter helping me 2 years ago (age 3) putting out mock scrapes.

This one Is for you Stump. Stump runs a hunting forum called The Midwest Hunter. I ordered a hat from there and put It on my daughter.

My only picture with my daughter and I with one of my kills. This was from 2008 I think. She was 1.5 years old. I've only shot 3 deer and one bear since she has been born. She was born 7-17-07. It was just too damn cold to take other pics of my late season deer kills. My bear kill we were 4.5 hours apart.

A friend of mine sent me his longbow trying to convert me to a longbow from my recurves. Didn't work. ;) None the less this Is the age my daughter started showing Interest In my hunting and me shooting my bow. She was 2.5 years old In these picture's.

My daughters 1st real bow. She had one of those suction arrow bows a year before this but this was her 1st real bow. She got this last summer right before she turned 4 years old. She was excited as heck!! I bet she's shot at least 500 arrows this spring so far. She loves shooting!! Talk about making a dad proud seeing that. :D

Last year (2011) I didn't get drawn for a bear license so I did the next best thing and took my daughter with on the action. Here she Is helping with the baiting. She loved It and It's all I've heard about this spring. "Daddy, when we going bear baiting and camping"? Again, music to this dads ears!!! :handgestures-thumbup:
