Buy a new gun or mount a buck head?
Would you rather buy a new pistol/gun/bow or get a good buck mounted? Was just thinking about this. I would personally have a buck mounted.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Already have way too many guns that I never shoot anymore so I would have to say I would rather have the buck mount.

I would go with a bow or gun.. I'm just one of them that needs to get a new bow every couple of years lol... There's a couple more guns I'd like to add to my collection too, plus I think I like the European skull mounts the best and they don't cost much

I love sitting in my rec room looking at my mounts and reliving the hunts, so definitely the mount.

Mount a buck head. Althought my minimum for mounting is somewhere between 150-160" (unless unusual). Anything less gets a European mount or gets the reciprocating saw.
Don't get me wrong. I LOVE GUNS! However, I spend so much time chasing these big brutes on an individual level that I have a hard time not honoring them in the long term.

Head mount, I have all the guns I really need, most of my hunting gets done with the same 4 or 5 guns and my bow, I like sitting in my stand remembering all the deer I have killed with that weapon versus getting a new one and trying to get its first kill. I may not buy another gun for years mostly because I don't really want any more that I can think of offhand.

Mount a buck without a buck, guns.
If it bleeds, we can kill it . . . .
