Missouri estimates its herd at 1.5 million.


How about where you live?

I don't know what Wisconsin is estimated at, but whatever they say, the real count is probably between half and 2/3rds of that.

Best I can find on Kansas is 400,000 in 2008.

470,000 in 2010. Less now. Not sure of 2012 numbers.
