I currently have a Aero Hunter Kestrel and love it. My hang on stand days may be behind me now. The reduced weight of my system really appeals to me even more as I get older. Hauling in 35+ lbs of stuff just isn’t as much fun anymore. I’ll save that energy for dragging or packing out bucks.

Thanks for the input. Stripping weight and noise was my main reasoning, too.

I only have 22 days of vacation. The rest were “sick” days and planned plant shutdowns. It was the perfect storm for time off and worked out perfectly for the year I drew an Iowa tag. Wish every year worked out that way.
