I think about it and say to myself, it don't get any better than this. Hunting deer up in this big oak tree doing what I love to do. I am one lucky person.


You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

yep , i thank the lord im so blessed to do what i do. we all are. some of the beautiful locations and sights seen are amazing. i went out to cut wood on my property 2 weekends ago and look up to see a huge bald eagle flying over me real low, what a sight.......

To be honest, at this stage of the game/life, I can't say that I have. Yet. Work, life, 3 young boys, bills, etc.... It takes me a 2-3 hr sit just to relax, clear my mind some and get into the groove of things. :)

When you have a few near death experiences working in Law Enforcement you really do learn to take the time to just sit and relax and take in what God created for us. I love my time in a tree almost as much as anything I do. I know I am very blessed to be able to still hunt at all.

Yep..especially when Im having a slow season or a slow couple days, I try to remind myself that Im lucky just to be out there, enjoying the scenery, etc..

every single time I hunt I think that, deer or no deer. I thank God for allowing me to enjoy his great outdoors
