Ok... From what you wrote, it seemed different. Its interesting that both articles are seeing 3 & 4 year old bucks move long distances until most are killed...
Thats the part I am not getting... To me, 1st off there is huge differences between 3 & 4 year olds. and I don't see the excessive movement in 4 year olds. They seem to hold pretty tight to certain areas.
Its funny to think a 4 year old would wander all over the place but a 5 y/o holds to a couple hundred yard area... ?
I won't get into the yearling buck thing again.......we'll have to agree to disagree. I can't explain hard-antlered yearling bucks running with doe groups. I just know I've seen it occur.
If you say you have seen it, I believe you have... My only thought is to question whether or not the doe is his mother. Not saying that can't be true either... Just have my doubts.
