Which one?
Two bucks walk out at the same time... Both 4 1/2 year old brutes. One is a perfect typical 12 point that should score about the minimum B.C. OF 170... The other is a narly 18 point non-typical that should score right around the B.C. minimum of 195
Both shots being equal, which do you shoot?

Gross or net?
A buck will see you three times, and hear you twice, but he's only gonna smell you once.

I'd take the 195NT. That would be more impressive than a 170 typ. A friend of mine has a buck that will make B&C both ways.

Re: Which one?
Breaking the trend on this one..... I would have to go with the 170 Typical.... I have an addiction for typical antlers of this caliber.

Re: Which one?
I choose 18pt, but it would depend on the individual character of each buck. If you had said 10pt I would have had to think hard about a typical. If you said 8 point I definitely would have chose typical. Having two tags here in Michigan I would do my best to try and get them both.
You cannot invade mainland America. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.

Re: Which one?
I chose 170 typical ,but maybe if the 195 non-typical was wide and tall I would choose it. But like DEERSLAYER said in Michigan we get 2 tags ,so i would try for them both.

I'd have to agree... I'd shoot the non-typical, and then wake up!

Re: Which one?
I too am against the majority on this one...I'd shoot the typical...I think. LOL!
That would be tough choice...I guess it would depend on just how "gnarly" the NonTypical rack is.
