Google earth.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

You got me stumped...
Alot of decent answers.
Probably my imagination (dreams of killing big bucks) and memories of the hunts I've enjoyed with friends.

My Lone Wolf Assault and sticks. In the past I limited myself to trees I could use my climber in. My LW set up really changed how I hunt and instead of looking for a good tree for my climber I now hunt where I need to be instead.

Yep this and a few other of the satellite mapping sites because I can get a history of my property over the years and the changes it has undergone over the years with forestry activities. I have 1800 acres leased and to see some of the little hidey hole places that might be a a 1/4 piece of hardwoods or little 1/2 piece of titi swamp the history helps tremendously because I can go back a few years and see the land when the pines were logged to see what was left in the clear cuts. These little copse of trees really pay dividends because in the pines bucks and does will all travel by these little pieces.
If you have not used terraserver try it because of the past history you can pull up with it. It was around before Google earth and I have used it for many years.

From an equipment point of view. Thermocare heat wraps for my kidney area. Hotronics for my boots. The combination of these two things and prospering layering of clothing have allowed me to sit comfortably through some pretty cold conditions.

I don't know. I feel like bow and stand are a given. I don't use trail cams a ton so I'd have to go with my GPS. It allows me to go in blind to areas that I've prescouted online and have success, as well as helping me with general navigation and marking spots.

Re: Favorite piece of equipment for deer hunting? Why?
I would have to say GPS, my lonewolf hand climber, and my muddy camera arm.
I have a Dakota 20 for a GPS and it has gotten me out of areas I would have been lost in or wouldn't have gone in the first place. I can mark points and what not on my GPS from google earth.
I will be using sticks and a stand for the most part this year but my lonewolf climber has helped me out moving around. I had to limit myself on some trees, however it was very light and versatile.
My Muddy camera arm is a little bulky and noisy (ratchet strap) but once setup in the tree it is GREAT. Stable, reliable, and smooth.
