You need to get in there and look around...That will tell you if it is worth it or not..

Don't know til you try...see if you can see if anybody is hunting it by drivebys and walk it and check the sign. Thing is about city deer you never know what will walk into an area from another small woodlot and other people may say its a pain to deal with and leave it alone. Could be good.

Agree with the above. You've got to get in there and see.
If you want to kill a deer you have to be in the woods.

I was driving down interstate 80 a couple years ago. A giant buck was bedded with a doe right across the road from the Tanger outlet center. The buck was multi pointed and was just a few feet off the interstate. So you never know where they will be.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

It probably gets to much pressure... But you don't know for sure unless you look. I would be interested for sure, cause its real easy to slip out for just a couple hours on a whim when a hunting spot is close to home. Although my best spots are practically road trips, I usually kill my biggest bucks close to home where I can hunt and moniter better and more often.

More then likely it gets a lot of pressure, but worth a little walk this time off year & you should be able to tell yet if it had a lot of hunter or deer.

My county has 950,000 people in it and it some of the public is barley hunted. Some of it gets pounded. Seems the ones closest to NYC gets hit hardest. I would expect the same with what ever big City is close to you.
Im not talking a substantial distance further either, Maybe 10 minutes further on the highway and you can have the place to yourself most days, so like others have said, yo never know.

If deer have been seen it's surely to get pressure.
I've watched the hunting pressure come and go on public land by the amount of sightings I hear about...
For 1 or 2 years it might get pounded then a lapse for a few years until more deer infiltrate it again or if deer move while people drive by, etc...
Some on foot miles is the only way to see, remember not every hunter hunting is the same caliber - you probably have learned some Beastly Tactics that will give you the edge

My brother has a dump trucking company in Kansas City, and he sees some world class Bucks in in town every year. He dont bow hunt but some of the guys he knows kills huge bucks there every year. Only some scouting will tell you what you need to know.

I have spots near the city. If they are bowhunting only, they are worth checking. Heck, anything is worth checking at least.
A buck will see you three times, and hear you twice, but he's only gonna smell you once.
