well it just looks like somehow the piece of bark grab the rack and was pulled up ......

Yeah that could be it... I thought of that too... But I found two rubs that were rather high... The only thing that sucked were a lot of people signs.. So might just save it for a late season hunt

That may be from deer eating the bark. The buck rub looks older than the rip up. If food is scarce the deer will eat bark and where that rub was the ends are shredded giving them an easy way to bite and rip it.
