Good Bucks on camera AGE?
These pics were from the rut but both bucks were captured on camera earlier in the year with the larger racked buck being seen by my dad while bowhunting cooling himself in one of our ponds. I was wondering most importantly how old these deer are for management purposes and score? There are two bucks. First one is at night the second buck is in the day. I have a stand setup where I will be hunting this area tonight late season bow. Food plot hunt. Not sure if they are still around but we will see. Nobody shot them with gun that we know of. It seems they like our area due to number of photos and seeing them in the field.

I'd say 3.5 as well, specially the 1st buck.

3.5 tops for both. Its hard to tell on the 2nd one because of the pics. I would say the 1st one is a really big 2.5 yr old. Short body, no stomach, neck should be more swelled during peak rut.

Both actually look like they could be 2.5 if you look just at their bodies. The rack, specifically the mass on the first one would be more in line with a 3.5.
I would just think if the first 1 was a 3.5 his neck would be bigger, he could very easily be 3.5 though because his body is slightly quartering away which can change how he looks.
The second one is kind of a guess because it's hard to see his body very good, what makes me think 2.5 is size of neck & shorter looking nose, not a huge body.

Both 3yr olds I would guess

3.5 would be my guess.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Thanks for the input guys. The first one I guessed 3.5 due to his tight belly. Hes got some good genes. The second one I figured 3.5 as well maybe 4.5. Is it just me or does the second ones face look like an older buck?

I will venture to guess that the first is 3 1/2 and the second 2 1/2.

Where were the pictures taken? If you said, I missed it.
I can tell you that "around here", you won't find a 2.5yo with a body like ANY of those deer.

Pics are from my families farm in West Central Wisconsin. Are these deer larger or smaller than deer in your area?
