Late season doe kickin my but.
Need to kill some doe.
Been having a hard time getting it done.
Decided to sit in my Matrix in a good spot for turkey and doe.
Had alot of turkey around..but not close enough.
Then the old doe steps out...at 65....I dont have that pin.
Picks the blind right out.
Three more come out and they feed out into the field.
At least they did not spook too bad.
Glad I had food and hot coffee with me...

Love your cedar tree set up Marty. Can't beat those cedar trees for some ground blind camo. My turkey set up a few years ago. Killed a turkey on this set up.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Re: Late season doe kickin my but.
I hear ya Zap, I'm having the same problem...
Funny thing, yesterday I went and put up a loc-on in a funnel, and I have been hunting this place and have about 10 sits in it without seeing a single deer. So, I'm strapping on my last ladder and here comes 8 doe trotting right stinkin' towards me about 70 yards down this funnel! I haven't seen a deer in this place in months!

Marty this is one killer setup. I wonder how the doe picked you out from this. Any ideas?

Question for you. I spent about 2 hours fighting that stand and stinkin' up the place. Do you think I could still hunt that spot tomorrow? They didn't blow or seemed to be alarmed, they just truned and trotted off when they seen me. I guess there's only one way to find out, just hunt it. I don't wanna put to much pressure on'em.
