Rumor has it a gut shot wolf doesn't run off as the theory goes...I've never shot a wolf through the guts but I can't imagine a 30-06 or .270 through the guts would give the wolf much of a chance to get away when ya think about it!

Wolves are big and I'm assuming pretty tuff. I bet they'd go a ways.

I agree with Swamp on this one, these things are useless, I realize they need to eat too, but they can go after the smaller animals that there are a million of and leave the deer and livestock alone, same for the coyotes and mountain lions.

i think everyone agrees with us that wolves need to go brad...but i think what people are not agreeing with me on is defending our freedom..if the govt. tries to take my land for shooting a wolf, they will eat lead. thats what thomas jefferson wouldve done..weve past the point of no return, these commies have ruined our country through the education system and soon we will have to defend ourselves...its easy to say "not in our lifetime" and it probably wont come to that but its about our kids...what if no one fought and died for the freedom we have today? what if nobody believed that our rights come from God?

I agree with you on both ideas, and I consider the government to be the equivalent of wolves as well! Our founding fathers would be rolling in their graves if they saw the world we live in now. I have a 2 year old nephew whom I really feel sorry for, its tough watching him play knowing what is probably in store for him down the road with the paths we are taking now. This whole world is going down the pot and I think the U.S is leading the way with the current trends. Things need to change and fast, or it will soon reach the point where things cant be undone, IF we haven't crossed that point already. I have a loaded pistol right next to the bed, thats for anyone who breaks in and tries to cause harm or take anything, and that includes a government take over.

You may need more than a pistol! My 30 round clips for the .223 are loaded ;)

the thing of it is...there will probably never be a full scale "government take over"..they know too many of us have guns. that is where progressivism comes into play..they brainwash each generation little by little and make small changes to things one decade at a time..so with the way things are now, our grandkids will probably be living in a complete socialist state and their kids will not be able to legally own a firearm...sad thing because if we make the first move they will say "look at the racist violent conservatives" they know they wont win in a firefight so they take it in baby steps until one day, we are no longer the United States of America, but something like the north american union.
with that being said...as sad as it is...there will likely be examples to follow of people who go down swinging when theve had enough...trick is to realize when enough of those take place that you need to take action...im not a revolutionary or anything like that, but i love my country too dam much to see people slowly destroy it, and if that means eventually i have to head for the hills and let lead fly....im ready

What wolves? ;)
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
