Agreed. Hill country in SE MN has been good for us in the past....this year was bad. Very few deer sightings and less sign. I think the 5 deer limits are catching up with us. The public we hunt has been pounded the last few years by people with everything that has four legs and a whitetail being the target no matter the size. However the swamps we hunt numbers seem good, tons of sign everywhere and deer sightings every sit. I honestly prefer hill hunting but im thinkin this off season im gonna be gettin to know the swamp alot better.
