11/25 short hunt

I had to guide some hog hunters on Friday at around noon, and i had some time to sit out and hunt. I went out at about 10:00 and wasn't sitting for 10 minutes when a 5-point buck came out to the corn field at about 50 yards away. He was headed away from me, so i tried to spine him. I got buck fever and missed him. He ran about 10 feet and turned broadside to look at me. I put the 7 Mag right through both of his lungs. He dropped right there, but it took another shot to put him out. Wasn't any slob buck, but I'm just as happy with this buck as any other. :D Pictures will be coming soon!!

Dan, I don't know about the hogs. We'll have to wait and see, but Jeff isn't going to let them stomp over him. He ain't going down without a fight.

You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
