FIRST BUCK ASSASSINATED!!!
went out with 2 buddies to drive a small island of cattails next to some big water...public land...just outside city limits..i was posting at the far end of the island and hadnt even got my stand hung when i heard a buck grunt..he come running past me at 40 yards...took a running shot and missed..he stopped. i drilled the lungs. public land...first buck ever!! im happy. on a side note..on our way to the drive we saw a 150" 8 point with huge mass and a 2 foot spread...he was with a doe at 1100 in the morning..private land next to the road..the biggest deer ive ever seen in my life...it was surreall...then this happened and i almost forgot all about it!

Nice buck for sure.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
