That is a slob, Congrats Tim. Too bad he busted off his other inside point! Way to keep at it until you found him.

Re: Tim's Vernon County Slob
those rages. i cant believe i didnt get a pass thru, his body was huge but that i dont think should have made any difference, im shootin 70 lbs. his liver was mushed inside but because he was parralel with me his blood pooled inside so barely any blood either. this deer tried to double back around from on top of the ridge and i couldnt believe he went that way, i passed him within feet probably 2 or 3 times. i dont know how i didnt see that big old body laying there

Re: Tim's Vernon County Slob
When I read "no pass thru" I figured it was "Rage"..
At least you recovered him... He has some cool charactor. I think the best picture is him by him self laying there. He looks huge in that pic.

thanks dan, i purposely took a couple pics that way because he was so massive. 2 years ago i shot a buck that dressed out at 189 and thought he was big he didnt even compare to this one, i cant imagine what ur 400lb buck must have looked like in person

I'm really happy for you Tim, that's a great buck you got there!
A buck will see you three times, and hear you twice, but he's only gonna smell you once.
