Re: Autumn Ninja's two weeks off?
I'll vouch for him a little bit. He's seen a few small bucks and a nice 140-145ish buck he's been watchin' on camera. I hope he can get on him before the rut goes in to high gear.
He called me this afternoon and said he seen my buck that I've had on trail camera a couple of times and once I drew on him. He said he seen him run out of thicket chasing a doe, and to think I was going to hunt today, but decided against it thinking it was too windy. Sounds like he's doing better than I am, I haven't even got a glimpse of the buck. So far my season stinks, but I've got some time coming up after rifle season.

Re: Autumn Ninja's two weeks off?
Sorry I missed this Ed!!! Its been an awesome year but I still hadnt put a buck down.
I started out chasing this 10 that I know to be 4.5. I couldnt be as aggressive as I would like with two weeks straight of nothing but south winds. He disappeared the first week of Nov. and hasnt came back yet.
Past this nice 2yr old up on the first hunt my vacation.
Couple other small bucks I took pic's of from the stand.
I really want this guy also....I know he's at lest 4yrs old also. The pic. sucks but he's a clean 12 point in the 140 range. He ran by my stand twice with a 130 class 8 chasing a doe...got to see him lock up with the 8 and run him off, it was a COOL hunt!!!
Season doesnt end until Jan 15th so I should get in 6-8 more hunts this year!!!!
P.S. Not real sure how big poplar trees grow but I found the biggest one Ive ever seen down on the river this year....

You're going to need a few extension straps to get a lone wolf into that tree AN!

Go get em Ninja!
A buck will see you three times, and hear you twice, but he's only gonna smell you once.
