I was sitting in a marsh all day today and it got me thinking about where the bucks that I have pics of could be. It's about a private 500 acre marsh surrounded by big hill country. Do bucks strictly like to stay in the marsh and others in the hills during hunting season? I know during the summer and winter virtually all the bucks move up to the hill country.

I would think that some like marsh better than hills, and vice versa... But thinking back, I can recall a buck or two that bed both up in the hills and down in the marsh..

I believe the buck I shot may have moved to my area from the river bottoms 3 miles away. I hunt the bluff tops. Dark rack and shorter tines like the people shoot in that area. Like Dan said I think some will use both while others will stay in one area.
