Your sled is prettier than mine. ;)

I hope so, it was $800.00.

We are not fooled Zap, we know you called in medflight for a buck you shot and while they were looking for an injured person, you being the camo clad warrior swiped the sled and off you went with the buck!!!

I have used the kids blue sled before works good. Saw a guy on state land with a camo one, that's how I got the idea. The drag strap that comes with the HSS vests works pretty good too.

Whatever you choose, don't drag the deer across bare ground if you want to mount the cape.

I'm not recommending this to anyone but my neighbor uses this once in awhile to drag em' out. Thought it was a cool little rig, just wanted to show you guys.

If it's any help at all, don't buy a sled that's too small. I bought one for $3 at the dollar store and was less than impressed when I brought it to my buck to drag out of the marsh only to find it fit the neck and head of the deer and the rest was still in the grass... I scratched my head a few times wondering what I was thinking after that one.

I think you got overcharged by a couple dollars on that one.

I have a standard deer cart and will be improving it soon. At a yard sale I bought a jogging baby hauler. Large diameter air filled tires, wheel locks, front brake and aluminum collapsible frame. No real detail yet but for 20 bucks the parts alone were worth it.

I like the cheaper plastic sled. Make holes along sides to run rope thru or ratchet strap and secure deer to sled. I then tie drag rope to deers neck and pull deer rather than pulling sled. Deer don't fall off and it's a smoother drag.

I have used these sleds a few times dragging squad members threw sand. http://www.skedco.com/product/ranger-sk ... ote-brown/ i have to say if you can afford one get your hands on it! do it! mine folded up into a 6 inch roll and pulled a 200 lbs man like he was a puck on ice.
