finally got buck down

Had this guy come in behind me, he was heading back and a couple of grunts turned him right back around. The shot was only about 10-12 yards but it was the best shot I have ever made on a deer. I just got those g5 strikers and am impressed! Shot it right through the heart and came out the shoulder about 8 inches. Blood everywhere easy track job took me about 5 minutes to find him. He maybe went 50 yards. The best part of it all is I got it on my roscoby riser cam! I'll post some pics tomorrow of the heart and the shot. He's not a giant but he's a descent one. I know that most guys here would probably have passed him but I had to put one down. Last year I only had one buck encounter the whole season and I hunted from oct.1 to jan 1. Tough season! Also it seems when its time to hit the trigger i fold under the pressure so it was nice to actually go through the process and do everything right.
