Plain old fun.
Finaly was able to check off a longtime goal.
Fill a rifle tag with a bow on public on opening morning.
With the kayak to boot. Entrance must of sounded like the titanic hitting the iceberg on a relatively calm morning. Some years we have been ice fishing already. Anything that had horns was in trouble. Came running in grunting chasing a doe. Little sketchy on the float out. Glad he didnt weigh much more than he did. Fun day.
Edit: cannot figure out why the pic is upside down.

Congrats. Breaking Ice on a calm cold morning always sounds incredibly loud and wonder how there's a deer left in the section

Re: Plain old fun.
Atta boy. Kayaking one out of public was easily one of the top experiences of my hunting career.
Assuming it was Wisconsin?

I want a kayak, seems like you can go where nobody else can with one.
