Bucking the wind in So Dak

Unread postby Chad Gus 715 » Mon Nov 16, 2020 11:53 am

Me and a buddy went out to south dakota for the west river rifle season. I'm pretty familiar with this area and was fairly confident we could get into some decent bucks out there. Opening morning i was able to fill both my buck and doe tag within minutes of each other an hour into season. My buddy was able to fill his doe tag that afternoon and Sunday morning we went back into the and spot i filled my tag in. After a couple hours of watching a dozen or so bucks chase and lock down does, we finally had one push a doe to public. I've been hunting south dakota off and on for the last 20 years and it has treated me very well and this year was no different.
