WV Public buck down

Found this overlooked corner of public about 3 weeks ago. You have to cross a knee high creek then scale a steep hill to get up to the flat to hunt. When I had scouted it earlier this year I jumped multiple does out of a brushy cove and then actually walked up on two bucks bedded, but neither were shooters. This hillside is leeward on a Southerly wind so I walked in about 12. Jumped a small buck out of the same bed and I set up half way up the flat to cover both directions as I suspected bucks to cruise through the thick brush to go check the doe bedding. I had been set up for no more than 15 minutes when this buck cruised through. I shot him at 12yds quartering to entering through one lung, clipper the back of off side lung and exited liver. He only ran about 75 yds. A good buddy of mine came and helped get him out, mainly to help pull him up the steep creek bank. On the Ohio now, good luck fellow beast
