Congrats! I have a ton of respect for you getting it done consistently on Public in Michigan. I can say the same for Hawthorne, Jmass, and some of the other Michigan guys, I’ve been trying to get that consistency and it is tough. Thanks for sharing your story!

It helps me focus if I close every thing out. There comes a point when I just want to do what I do and get back to the basics. Watching every one kill monster bucks on here gets in my head and I start doubting myself and my situation. I know guys have talked about the pressure to succeed before on here. Some say it doesn't exist. For me there is a pressure. Hunting public land I have way better odds of getting a good buck if I can kill one before our gun opener. To do that I need to be in the game, especially this time of year. Shutting out the outside fuzz is what I felt I needed to do. Not just here but in everyday life to. As I stated in the entry paragraph, that effects relationships with friends, work, family... It feels good to be back in society for a bit. I'm gonna go easy this next week, then on to the next one.

Thanks for all the positive comments everyone.
