Using helical applied vanes the Helix BHs spin in conjuntion especislly when it hits the target or target animal. Couldn't figure out why my arrows (when shooting BHs) were always at an angle in my target. Went thru my bow tuning it every possible way and the arrows still were angled into target. Luckily my neighbor is smarter than I and explained the way the Helix edges are sharpened on one side makes them spin into the target.

I'm shooting a 2014 Elite Energy 35 at 68# with Easton AXIS Match Grade 400 spine arrows, 125 gr Helix and Nocturnals. Been practicing accurately with these BHs out to 60, but stress that I don't plan on risking a shot on a whitetail over 40 yds which feels like a chip shot after shooting 60!

With this buck the arrow was buried completely inside the deer after a tight quartering to shot. His insides were destroyed. Was careful gutting it cause i figured it was in there which it was.

Will be in Iowa hunting public ground soon for my first time ever. Now I can definitely be picky! Maybe even get a buck like Spysar and Dewey got there before...

This is a great comment muddy! I was looking at his neck thinking "oh my god!"

Nice thick slob buck! Congrats.

I was blown away by the size of his neck for Oct 11th! Not to mention his aggresiveness towards mt grunting. That has only brought in 1.5 yr olds in the past for me.
