Did you just go OTC this year? What was the pressure from other hunters like? Maybe you said, but how many days did you hunt? Great pics!!

Thank you.

Pressure was light compared to anything I was used to. The problem was all of the bucks were congregated in bachelor groups of various sizes. Not many big ones in the area so hunters stared to really start zoning in on the same deer. We found them first and then other hunters caught on from seeing us then eventually moved in and cut my friends off. It sucked really. I set my buddies up on a large group coming out of the hills. I was 50 yards off the night prior with my setup so I physically walked my buddy to a spot 1.5 miles and told him where they’d be coming through. Another group of hunters observed and set up 100 yards away to cut him off. They ended spooking all of the bucks.

I went in the unit that takes the least amount of points. I had 1. Nothing in WY is OTC with pronghorn or mulies. I hunted 6 days.

Congrats on the nice bucks!! Loved reading about the hunts.

I just got back from 9 days in the Bighorns. We saw TONS of does and fawns, and a lot of bachelor groups with younger bucks. The giants were harder to find but we did locate some, but never got a shot.
