Shot this buck yesterday morning on public land. The swamp was hot. I was hearing grunting all morning. This buck ran the 4 pointer off. About an hour and a half later he came in with a doe and offered me a 20 yd shot. I set this spot up last winter when I jumped a nice buck and back tracked him in the snow then tracked him where he ran. Was sitting in a tamarack tree. I was pretty pumped. 3 years of hard work in this area and it finally came together.
