First sit on Saturday 9/30/17
My first sit of the year on this property Saturday morning was exciting. I waited until we had a NE/East wind and cool temps to hunt a transition area going back to bedding to see If I could smack a doe. I brought my camera arm and video to get it all on camera.
I had 2 does at 50 yards at daylight, and about 20 minutes later had another pair of does come by for a perfect chip shot. I let the lead doe walk past and shot the 2nd one, which was a 1.5 yr old doe. She moved forward as soon as I shot, so I ended up with a liver hit, but she expired 40 yards away in sight. About 30 minutes later, had another group of 5 does come by at 30 yards.
So in total, I saw 9 antlerless deer and shot one nice doe. Now, I am going to focus on a big 10 pt I am after!!

You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
