Thanks guys, he says he wants to shoot bucks like the Magic man......big shoes to fill.
His hunting was extremely limited this year. He didn't grab his bow to start practicing until 1st week of October and we realized we couldn't adjust the draw length any more as it was maxed out last year. That bow was the same bow he was shooting since he was six.
So I say, no big deal we will go to the archery shop Monday and buy you a new one. Monday I received a call to head to Alabama to assist with a project not in the best shape. Three weeks later before I can finish the job and head home.
To say Lil Hodag wasn't happy was an understatement. Bought him a bow right away first day back, Mission Balistic, nice bow, and off to the back yard to continue practicing.
The little guy, not so little anymore at 15 years old, is pretty lucky to have this buck cruise by. He seen 5 total deer tonight, the other 3 were all out of range.
