Not a toad but good for where I live!

Unread postby wolfie729 » Mon Nov 07, 2016 2:57 pm

Shot my biggest buck to date scored him at 106 thought it was mid 90's so we scored it twice 108 the first time 106 the second been a really tuff year for me was texting a friend of mine crying how Ive seen good deer just cant connect and he said eh theres 2montha left only takes 5 seconds to make a great season. All of a sudden i hear a deer look up see some legs then a six point comes cruising from behind me I let him walk. He goes toward that other deer then veers off and then this buck steps out starts heading away toward that buck so I grunt he stops for 2 minutes hes at 60 yards heads right down the draw accidently spined him but shot him again from the stand. Got his in a ravene right behind my house never expected to see a good buck back there but I'll be dipped. Was just like Dan says leeward side i set up high checked with milkweed and it blew all the way across the draw so i new he wouldnt smell me hung my lone wolf tonight and this was the results. Nice buck for my area of michigan theres 10 hunters in my square block. Thank you everyone!!!

Dandy buck for sure.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
